Seek | Say is a local utility app for asking real-world questions and sharing short updates with people around you—without the baggage of traditional social media.
What's the difference between Seek and Say?
- Seek: Ask a question and collect helpful answers (recommendations, advice, quick local reality checks).
- Say: Share a local update or announcement (personal or business), designed to be useful—not noisy.
Do I need to add friends or build a following?
No. There are no friend requests and no follower pressure. This is designed for utility, not clout.
Who can see my posts?
Posts are shown to people based on location relevance (your nearby area and/or your home locale, depending on your settings and the post type).
Why do you need my location?
Location is used to make the feed relevant. You can:
- Use device location (nearby)
- Use a home locale (your chosen city/state when you Signed up)
Your exact location is not shown publicly in the feed. Our Location handling policy is in our TOS.
Can people see my exact distance or address?
No. Seek | Say does not ask or display your address.
Can I post anonymously?
Yes, Anonymous posting is available. You dont have to wait for a moderator to approve.
We hate spam and shady posts as well. Hence we put some discouraging guard rails to encourage genuine use cases.
Why does anonymous posting cost credits?
Anonimity is poweful - but it can be abused. The credit cost is only when wanting to post to Say tab.
Credit cost is a quality filter to keep community genuine and reduce drive-by trolling.
What are credits used for?
Credits help keep the platform clean and sustainable. They may be used for:
- Promotional/business broadcasts
- Posting into a city
- Posting Anonymously using Say feature.
- Certain premium posting options (when enabled)
Can I earn credits?
Yes. Depending on any ongoing promotions and completion of tasks as provided by the app.
